The United Nations Association Switzerland dates back to the 1920s when Switzerland was member of the League of Nations! It has been instrumental throughout the long campaign for our country to join the UN through a people’s vote in 2002. Nowadays it contributes to a better understanding of the UN in civil society and to Swiss policy formulation in the UN General Assembly.
